Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans for production equipment.
- Gather, compile, summarize and generate test reports/results.
- Perform routine maintenance on test equipment.
- Perform repairs on production equipment as required.
- Generate test floor equipment operational procedures.
- Generate test floor safety procedures.
- Assist in the testing of R&D equipment.
- Provide suggestions on streamlining tests.
- Work with vendors as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: 2 year Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years of hands on experience in the electronics manufacturing or research and development environments.
Necessary Skills/Abilities:
- Experience working with electronics circuits.
- Demonstrated awareness of electrical safety hazards and corresponding safety procedures.
- Familiarity with personal computer usage and keyboard skills.
- Skilled in use of electronic test equipment such as DVM’s, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, in-circuit emulators and others.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic circuits using fundamental circuit concepts.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently.
